Meet the Manager: Brian C. Grenier
Brian
C. Grenier is currently acting in the capacity as manager for Brian J. Boyle.
Brian G's competive record speaks for it self having qualified for the USAT
Triathlon nationals in 1999, and taking a top ten in the USAT Duathlon Nationals
for 2004 Grenier competed at the national level in multi sport for 5 years,
making him an understanding mentor to this future star. They will be
working together with other survivors to bring the word of hope to those that
are suffering from similar injuries as well as returning service members ,if
they can get the go-ahead! "We are survivors first and athletes second
this is a mission of hope!"

In 2005 Brian G. changed sports and took up cycling full time. Joining Coastal Carolina Velo cycling team in 2006 Brian G quickly proved his worth by taking 3 podium wins in his very first year. 2007 would prove to be no different as Brian G. solidified his reputation as a cyclist in road racing as well as in the time trial. Late 2007 saw tragedy strike as Brian G. crashed into a very large black bear while on a training ride in CO. The impact of the 39mph collision resulted in major physical injuries as well as a concussion that left him laid up for some weeks. Undaunted Brian G. resumed training in only three weeks with the help of his physical therapists Jim and Lorie Tracy.

weeks to the day Brian G. took home a silver medal in the Down East Cyclists
Time Trial Championships! Again one week later Brian G Challenged the hills of
Utah in the Dave Zabriskie time trial event taking a bronze medal and an
autographed CSC jersey form Dave Zabriskie! The following weekend saw him place
2/275 in the bike split of the Emerald Isle Triathlon an event he took part in
with his daughter Jamie Grenier Wax ending a fantastic and challenging season!
One of the big sporting accomplishments of 2007 was the management of Coastal Carolina Velo cycling club. The management Brian G. Provided not only helped the club obtain the rights and USAC license for the NC State Time Trial Championships but his efforts in 2007also helped the club finish up the year on the positive side of the accounting ledger allowing the club to cover their expenses for 2008 and also make a generous donation to the NC Big Brothers Big Sisters program!
Brian G. is also a journalist and covers the professional cycling scene for "The Daily Peloton" . He has interviewed the very best professionals in the sport of cycling as well as providing detailed equipment, bike and book reviews to his publisher. To further his managing and writing career Brian G. Has joined with Brian Boyle to write this amazing athletes story of survivorship and to help him on the business side.
Brian G's goals for 2008 after changing teams to "The Window Gang" will be to work as an domistique for the team in the Cat 3 class and continue to cement his hold on the east coasts Time Trial scene. This year he is being coached by Bruce Hendler of AthletiCamps to help him reach his goal of dominating the Time Trial arena.
Brian G will also be on the team of managers that are in the planning for the NC State Time Trial Championships. "We are planning on bringing the sport of competive cycling to NC by showcasing the states best tallent in a fantastic venue. We will also be supporting the "Hope for the Warriors Fund" through an after race donation" If he can plan like he can race he will be providing profesional managment for this event. The NC Time Trial Championships are slated for 27 Sept 2008.
Brian G is scheduled to race in 20 road races and 12 Time Trials for 2008 ! He lives in eastern NC with his wife Chris and their daughter Naomi
